Arduino Beginner Gets Roasted
However, even though my phone is connected to esp32 via ble, the app displays an error saying "cannot connect to device". Sounds like it was written by Microsoft. Why can't app developers take an extra 0.005 nanoseconds and make error messages meaningful? What couldn't connect to what device? Is that too much to ask to be told? How was the app trying to connect? That should be part of the error dialog. If the app isn't trying to connect using BLE, then the dialog should say that, and it would become obvious what you needed to do (get a different app). I am just starting and cannot understand or write code. Then, you are doomed. Might as well toss in the towel now, since almost everyone that says this leaves off the "and I'm not going to learn" part of the statement. I've watched online tutorials on the issue On what issue? Porn is not going to help you.
A dark-mode forum thread shows a beginner asking about an ESP32 Bluetooth connection error and admitting they cannot understand or write code. Another user sarcastically says they are doomed, then interprets “online tutorials” as pornography, creating an absurd and hostile punchline. It is used as a reaction to unhelpful beginner questions, overconfident troubleshooting, or a conversation suddenly taking an inappropriate turn.
