The Cat on the Security Camera

That time I checked the cameras and almost had a heart attack

A black-and-white security-camera montage shows a cat unexpectedly appearing in different rooms and moving closer until it stares directly into the camera. The joke is the sudden, eerie reveal: checking the cameras feels like discovering a frightening intruder, but the “threat” is just a wide-eyed cat. Kevin Gates’s “Satellites” adds a dramatic, moody soundtrack that heightens the fake horror and makes the cat’s deadpan stare funnier.
