Flash Games and Impending Death
Way back when I used to play flash games on the internet for hours and think that I would never die. Today flash games no longer exist. And I’m now quite sure of my death.
A hooded, masked figure sits at a chessboard in a dark, torch-lit chamber. The caption nostalgically recalls playing Flash games for hours, then turns their disappearance into an exaggerated realization of mortality. It is used as a melodramatic reaction to old internet nostalgia and the passage of time.
