Humane tried so hard to be Steve Jobs they never realized that Steve Jobs was never trying to be anyone else
The founders of Humane stand in a minimalist workspace beside their device, presented as imitators of Steve Jobs. The joke is that their attempt to recreate Jobs’s image and style misses the point: Jobs was known for being distinctively himself. This is used as a reaction to companies or people copying a famous innovator while lacking originality.
