A photographed rejection letter from the Church of Satan is shown with a returned $200 check. The absurd joke is that someone apparently applied to join Satan’s church, was rejected, and had their payment sent back. It is used as a reaction to mock an embarrassing rejection or an unexpectedly strange failed application.
