Generational Computer Literacy Decline
It only took one generation of smartphones existing and the first people who grew up with them can't use a real computer. And when I say "use," I mean basic end-user functions like keyboard shortcuts 'ts been pretty wild watching generational computer literacy decline right in front of me. Somehow I end up God at work for knowing what keyboard shortcuts are. They literally don't even know what directories are lol A lot of Zoomers find the file system in Windows tricky. If the program doesn't create a desktop shortcut they do not know how to find it.
A screenshot of a Twitter thread criticizing younger smartphone users for lacking basic computer skills. The joke exaggerates generational decline by portraying keyboard shortcuts, directories, and file systems as mysterious knowledge, making it useful as a reaction to technological incompetence.
