China Changes Alliances Through History
Xinjiang Clique Fengtian Clique Anhui Clique Yunnan Clique
A colorful animated map of East Asia rapidly changes its flag-covered borders and symbols, with China shifting through different political and historical identities while neighboring countries remain visible around it. The escalating visual transformation creates an absurd geopolitical reaction joke, made more energetic by the music track “Back In It” by babimanny. It works as a reaction to sudden changes, shifting alliances, or an overwhelmingly complicated situation.
