12 years a tech recruiter with kink.com reached out about a job. Not to be rude I heard them out. They warned about “the environment” there. They were speaking of course about the office environment being around porn shoots all day but I thought they were talking about development environment. I said “it can’t be that bad. Your not using some Java web frontend or anything terrible like that right?”. They were in fact using Java on their frontend so obviously that would never be ok with me.
