The Empty Threat Cat

I do not fear you, mother this device is nothing more than an empty threat. You do not have the heart to dampen me, your favorite son in fact i challenge you, i beg of you to prove your worth, ack.

A wide-eyed cartoon cat confidently faces a green spray bottle while delivering an increasingly grandiose, dramatic speech to its mother. The robotic narration and serious music make the cat’s declarations sound like an epic challenge, but the final frame shows it being sprayed in the face and reduced to “ack.” The joke is a reaction to overconfident bravado immediately collapsing when someone actually follows through.
