Banks Watching Interest Accrue
Banks watching you pay interest on the money they lent you after they printed it out of thin air:
An older man in a suit laughs exuberantly while holding a baby orangutan dressed in a red checkered shirt. The orangutan eventually stares back blankly as the man leans toward it, turning the joke into a reaction about banks gleefully collecting interest on money they can create. The clip is set to Wendy Carlos & Rachel Elkind’s ominous electronic soundtrack “Main Title (The Shining),” whose eerie mood makes the laughter feel sinister and satirical.
