Cars Now Versus Cars Then

Cars now: Cars then: DURACELL SAMSUNG Full HDTV

The video starts with the “Cars now” side filling up with an absurd pile of modern technology and colorful components, while the “Cars then” side remains empty. After a bright transition, an old compact car appears on the right, completing the joke that older cars were simpler, more durable, and less overloaded with electronics than modern vehicles. Electronic music from Efflorence’s “Vine Salad” builds the playful mood, while the whip-like sound punctuates the final reveal and makes the transformation feel exaggerated and comedic.
