Every Day Is Monday
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
A weekly calendar gradually fills with the same unsettling close-up face from Monday through Wednesday, then cuts to a grinning white cartoon animal enjoying different scenes: sitting outside, eating fried chicken, resting in bed, driving a car, and relaxing at the beach. The joke is that the character’s bizarre energy and repetitive presence take over the entire week, turning every day into the same chaotic mood. It works as a reaction to an exhausting, repetitive, or strangely eventful week.
