Dyslexic Poetry Pottery
My teacher said I’d never be good at poetry due to my dislexia but look what I just made
A smiling bearded man in a green hoodie holds up a black ceramic mug in a room. The caption jokes that his dyslexia prevented him from being good at “poetry,” but he has apparently made pottery instead, playing on the similar-sounding words. It works as a self-deprecating reaction to unexpectedly succeeding at something or misunderstanding a task.
