Imagining Breakfast Without Breakfast
rotating a photorealistic apple in my mind while hearing my own voice narrate how i'd feel if i didn't have breakfast this morning
A surreal black-and-white illustration shows a human figure with a brain for a head surfing through space on a giant brain-shaped wave, with other brains floating nearby. The joke is an exaggerated depiction of overthinking a simple feeling: mentally visualizing an apple and narrating the consequences of skipping breakfast. It works as a reaction to absurdly elaborate internal monologues about ordinary situations.
