Slavs Refuse to Smile
smileee:))) Slavs: No
A woman cheerfully raises a vintage camera and asks for a smile, but the clip cuts to a rapid slideshow of stern-looking Slavic people in traditional clothing, each captioned “Slavs: No.” The joke contrasts her bright, playful request with the famously serious expressions in old historical portraits, while Lykke Li’s “Little Bit (feat. Autoerotique) [Remix]” adds a stylish, ironic dance-music mood.
