Are These Monads Free?
EXCUSE ME, ARE THESE MONADS FREE ? THIS IS THE LAND OF FREEDOM. PEOPLE DROVED THESE MONADS FREE
A waiter-like figure at a table is asked whether the monads are free, then explains that people “droved” them free in the land of freedom. The joke plays on functional programming terminology, the Haskell logo, and deliberately awkward grammar as a parody of American freedom rhetoric.
