Gnome Rice on a Broken Screen
[GNOME] Part 2 on my Gnome rice. I followed people's advice and used xrandr to make my screen 720x1080 on just the usable part on the monitor. Simple and clean gnome interface, and I didn't need 2/3 of the screen for the terminal anyway!
A laptop displays a GNOME desktop compressed into the still-working right side of a severely damaged screen, while the rest shows dead pixels and colored lines. The joke is that the user deliberately configured the display with xrandr to use only the usable area, presenting a broken screen as a minimalist Linux desktop setup. It is shared as a humorous reaction to hardware damage, Linux tinkering, or absurdly over-engineered solutions.
