The Shoes Are on the Wrong Side
A note on the shoe thing.. there is a side door attached to the kitchen literally right at the bottom of the stairs. But... Those damn shoes are on the opposite side of the house.
A Twitter screenshot explains that the shoes are placed on the opposite side of the house from the convenient side door by the kitchen stairs. The joke is the absurdly inconvenient house layout and the speaker’s exasperation about where the shoes are located. It can be sent as a reaction to needless inconvenience or bizarre architectural decisions.
