Watching Pizza Videos on a Diet
me spending my evening's watching food videos whilst on a strict 1500 calorie diet
A video alternates between a serious close-up of a man staring blankly and enticing shots of a cheese-covered pizza being cut, pulled apart, and eaten. The caption jokes about deliberately watching food videos while following a strict 1500-calorie diet, turning self-control into quiet suffering. Øneheart & reidenshi’s “Snowfall,” a melancholic ambient/new-age track, makes the reaction feel dramatically tragic and absurd.
