Joining the War on Autism
I'M JOINING THE WAR ON AUTISM ON THE SIDE OF THE AUTISM
An anime girl holding a submachine gun announces that she is joining the “war on autism,” then clarifies that she is fighting on autism’s side. The clip cuts to dark military combat footage and ends with the anime girl superimposed over a battlefield view, making the joke an absurd, mock-dramatic pro-autism war declaration. Dramatic music heightens the contrast between the serious war imagery and the ridiculous caption.
