Cat Explains True Humility

I told my cat to stop acting almighty and ignoring me and he said, “true humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.”

A cream-colored cat moves slowly closer to the camera while sitting on a striped bedspread, staring with an unimpressed, almost philosophical expression. The caption jokes that after being told to stop acting superior and ignoring its owner, the cat gives a famous-sounding definition of humility that actually means thinking about yourself less often. The calm piano music by Piano Marine Mike makes the cat’s solemn stare feel comically profound, so the clip works as a reaction to smugness, self-importance, or an unexpectedly deep statement.
