Silly Mood and Darkness
why are you in such a silly mood? without it, darkness would consume me
A purple bear wearing a yellow hat playfully dances beside a blue cat in a four-panel comic. When the cat asks why the bear is in such a silly mood, the bear explains that without silliness, darkness would consume it; the final panels show the bear collapsing upside down while the cat sweats nervously. The joke presents silliness as a coping mechanism for inner darkness, making it a reaction for masking sadness with chaotic humor.
