GPT-4 Was the Pinnacle of AI
I don't even slightly expect this to happen, but imagine if 5 month ago GPT4 was the pinnacle of AI. And no one discovers how to get back there. That'd sure be weird. we've heard all your feedback about GPT4 getting lazier! we haven't updated the model since Nov 11th, and this certainly isn't intentional. model behavior can be unpredictable, and we're looking into fixing it 🤏

A second post from ChatGPT claims that GPT-4 has not been updated since November 11th and that its laziness is unintentional, creating an ironic joke about AI quietly getting worse while denying responsibility. It is sent as a reaction to declining AI performance or suspicious corporate excuses.
