Drive Through the Sky
Damage Blast
A low-resolution video alternates between chaotic third-person gameplay footage of a vehicle tumbling through a city and Ryan Gosling’s character from Drive being violently jolted inside a car. The escalating crash is humorously matched to Kavinsky’s synthwave track “Nightcall,” making the cinematic driving scene feel like an absurdly dramatic video-game failure and a reaction to losing control.
