Deleuze Reading Group
Welcome, my friends, to the Deleuze reading group.
An illustration shows a man elevated on a stool reading to two restrained men on the floor. The joke parodies an intellectual reading group by depicting the difficult philosopher Gilles Deleuze as physically and conceptually tying people up. It is used as a reaction to dense theory, impenetrable academic discussion, or pretentious intellectualism.
