Expectations Versus Reality Gym Meme
Expectations Reality "Nice Pecs Bro" "How much can you bench" "I used to lift"
A pictogram joke compares expectations and reality: a man and a muscular person are expected to produce a group of women, but in reality they produce several muscular men who compliment each other and discuss bench pressing. The meme is used humorously when the outcome of a situation is the opposite of what was hoped for, especially when masculine gym culture replaces an imagined romantic result.
