Dear Villeneuve, You Claim MCU Movies
“DEAR VILLENEUVE, YOU CLAIM MCU MOVIES ARE COPY/PASTE YET DUNE IS BASED ON A BOOK CURIOUS” ROBERT DOWNEY JR. ACTOR, METAL MAN/IRONIC BLACK-FACE WEARER
Robert Downey Jr. stands in a suit while delivering a sarcastic quote addressed to Denis Villeneuve. The joke points out the perceived contradiction of criticizing MCU movies as repetitive while adapting Dune, a story based on a book; it is used as a reaction to hypocrisy or double standards.
