PlayStation 5 can now play Skyrim at 60fps thanks to new mod And with Trophies enabled too. By Matt Wales, 18/01/2021 Skyrim fans with access to a PlayStation 5 can now join their Xbox Series X/S brethren and give Bethesda's ageing fantasy RPG a bit of a graphical boost up to 60fps courtesy of a newly released mod - and it'll work with Trophies enabled too.
A screenshot of a Eurogamer article shows the Skyrim Dragonborn walking through a village, alongside a headline announcing that PlayStation 5 can run Skyrim at 60fps with trophies enabled. The joke is the absurdly celebratory treatment of a minor technical upgrade to an old game, especially compared with modern gaming expectations. It is shared as a reaction to overhyping small improvements or joking about Skyrim being released yet again.
