Our Hero Fights the Fire
HEY EVERYONE, WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM HERE! OUR HERO
A comic shows two simple cartoon characters with fire extinguishers as a small fire gradually grows into a huge blaze. One character alerts everyone about the big problem, while another rushes in dramatically and is celebrated as the hero. The joke is that the crisis was allowed to become enormous before anyone acted, making this useful as a reaction to delayed or performative problem-solving.
