The Bridge-Loving Scary Guy
when everyone thinks you’re scary but you’re just a dude who likes bridges
A fast, dreamy montage shows Xi Jinping at colorful bridge-themed events, old photographs of an ordinary smiling man, bridge landmarks, and nostalgic footage of him with people. The caption jokes that someone perceived as intimidating is actually just an enthusiastic bridge admirer, while The Lemon Twigs’ indie pop-rock song “In My Head” gives the montage a wistful, playful mood and makes the absurd reveal feel oddly heartfelt.
