Saudi Gimli Fights Beside a Friend
Never thought I'd die fighting side by side with a Jew What about side by side with a friend? Wallahi, I could do that
A three-panel edit of Gimli and Legolas from The Lord of the Rings shows Gimli wearing Arab clothing beside a Saudi flag and Legolas beside an Israeli flag. The dialogue parodies the original battle exchange by replacing “an elf” with “a Jew,” creating an edgy political joke about enemies becoming friends. It is used as a reaction to an unlikely alliance or reconciliation.
