Imagine Showing This to Lenin

Imagine showing this to Lenin “It is Gorbachev!” “Because of him, we have opportunity!” “Because of him, we have freedom!” “Political instability!” “Hail to Gorbachev!”

A comedic film scene in a restaurant shows people enthusiastically praising Gorbachev for opportunity and freedom, before someone bluntly adds “Political instability!” The joke is imagining Lenin witnessing a chaotic, celebratory presentation of Gorbachev’s legacy, making it useful as an absurd political reaction video. Music plays underneath with a dramatic, celebratory feel, heightening the contrast between the triumphant praise and the cynical punchline.
