Nicholas Cage Real Guns Fact
Economic- Right TIL in Lord of War starring Nicholas Cage, they bought 3000 real guns for the filming because it was cheaper to buy real guns and resell later than buying props. They also rented 50 tanks which were only available for a short period because the source had to sell them to Libya later
A screenshot shows Nicholas Cage in a suit standing among military vehicles beneath a fact about the film Lord of War using real guns and rented tanks because it was cheaper than using props. The joke is the absurdly economical approach to making a movie about arms dealing, especially the detail that the tanks had to be sold to Libya afterward.
