Why Would I Listen to an Alcoholic
Told myself to stop drinking... but why would I listen to an alcoholic
Aerial footage of bright tropical beaches, turquoise ocean water, waves, and a sunset plays throughout the 12.4-second video. The caption jokes that the speaker plans to stop drinking but refuses to take advice from an alcoholic, while Katy Perry’s upbeat pop song “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” makes the self-destructive punchline feel carefree, celebratory, and ironic.
