Thousands Carry My Portrait
I used to have lots of career goals but now the only thing I want is thousands of Arab guys carrying my portrait through the street when I die.
A young man in a black coat looks down beneath a blank speech bubble, paired with a mock social-media post about wanting thousands of Arab men to carry his portrait through the street after his death. The joke references the image’s Middle Eastern cinematic aesthetic and absurdly grandiose fantasy of posthumous fame, so it is used as an ironic reaction to dramatic ambitions or exaggerated self-importance.
