Snapchat AI Contradicts Itself

Did Joe Biden say, "you're not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations"? No, Joe Biden did not say that "you're not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations." While the COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death, they are not 100% effective at preventing infection. It is still possible to contract COVID-19 after being vaccinated, although the likelihood of severe illness or hospitalization is greatly reduced. During a town hall event in July 2021, Biden said, "You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations," but he was referring specifically to the fact that the vaccines are highly effective at preventing severe illness and death, not to the fact that they provide complete protection against infection.

A screenshot of a Snapchat My AI conversation about whether Joe Biden said vaccinated people would not get COVID. The AI first denies the quote, then repeats that Biden said it, creating an ironic contradiction. It can be used as a reaction to chatbot errors, misinformation, or self-contradictory answers.
