Japan Suicide Manga Comment
Suicide claimed more Japanese lives in October than 10 months of COVID I can’t comprehend how a country that makes manga could have such a problem. Like if you are sad just read about JoJo or something.
A Reddit-style news post shows a crowded group of masked Japanese commuters beneath a headline claiming that suicide caused more Japanese deaths in October than COVID did over ten months. A commenter makes an insensitive joke that Japan’s manga culture, especially JoJo, should solve sadness, creating an absurd contrast between a serious public-health tragedy and a shallow anime reference.
