GOTY 2011 vs GOTY 2024
GOTY 2011 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim BATMAN ARKHAM GOTY 2024 Balatro PS5 ASTRO BOT
Two dragons battle dramatically above Skyrim and Batman: Arkham games under the label “GOTY 2011.” Below, two unimpressed Shiba Inu dogs sit beside Balatro and Astro Bot under “GOTY 2024,” joking that the prestigious Game of the Year contenders have become unexpectedly silly or modest. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to the changing nature of game awards and the rising cost of game development.
