What a Week, Huh?
What a week, huh? Ms. Misato, it’s Wednesday and the beginning of a new month.
Misato stands in the doorway looking exhausted after a difficult week, while Shinji and Pen Pen point out that it is only Wednesday and the beginning of a new month. The joke exaggerates the feeling that the week has already been unbearably long, making it useful as a reaction to early-week exhaustion.
