Zig compilation mode rejection
ziglang/zig – #36237 introduce an actually memory safe (unlike Rust) compilation mode inspired by Fil-C 4 comments, open andrewrk – 2026-07-20 I feel bad for you. I don’t think about you at all.
A mock social-media post proposes a memory-safe Zig compilation mode inspired by Fil-C and contrasting with Rust. The lower panels parody the Mad Men exchange “I feel bad for you” / “I don’t think about you at all,” implying the other side is completely indifferent to the proposal. The logos covering the characters turn the scene into a programming-language community reaction meme.
