Prior Authorization for Prayers
I’m sorry, prior authorization is required for thoughts and prayers. Sending prior authorization, denied claims, collections & prayers to his family
A screenshot of a social media comment thread shows someone joking that even “thoughts and prayers” require prior authorization. Another commenter extends the joke with insurance and debt-collection language, humorously sending denied claims and collections along with prayers to the person’s family. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to performative condolences or bureaucratic excuses.
