Game Developers vs Web Developers
Game developers: with enough if statements and while loops I can do literally anything. Web developers: I will use graph theory and a hand crafted functional state management framework to create this sign up form.
A text-based programming meme contrasts game developers, who use simple control-flow statements to build almost anything, with web developers, who overengineer a basic signup form using graph theory and a custom state-management framework. The joke is aimed at excessive complexity and unnecessary abstraction in web development.
