Barbenheimer 9/11 Joke
In an attempt to get Americans to see why Japan finds Barbenheimer offensive, Japanese twitter has taken to making 9/11 jokes - completely misunderstanding that Americans love 9/11 jokes.
A split image combines Barbie branding with explosive Oppenheimer-style imagery, creating the Barbenheimer pairing. The joke satirizes a Japanese Twitter user supposedly misunderstanding American dark humor about 9/11 and assuming Americans enjoy such jokes.
