Mom Meets Her Friend at the Grocery Store
My mom and her friend She met in the Grocery store Me The other kid
A split-screen video shows two men in a red-lit club scene above, labeled “My mom and her friend” and “She met in the Grocery store,” while Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman from American Psycho stares intensely below as “Me” and “The other kid.” The joke is that the children react with exaggerated, unsettling seriousness when their mothers meet, turning an ordinary grocery-store encounter into a dramatic social rivalry. Mareux’s dark, hypnotic song “The Perfect Girl” makes the reaction feel ominous and absurd.
