Denuvo Performance Improvement Explanation
Denuvo says that the performance improvement on Star Wars is due to devs tweaks and not the DRM Denuvo patched and removed completely HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA introduced enough overhead on lower- to medium-end hardware. What about the performance comparisons between the protected version and the patched build without protection? This is like comparing apples to... well, optimized apples. Take Star Wars: Jedi Survivor as an example, once they patched out the protection, they also added a handful of performance tweaks – so much that even the prior-gen consoles could handle it. So, of course it runs better after the patch – it’s not just about removing protection; it’s about devs walking an extra mile to make everything run smoother. Contrasting the original to the patched version is like comparing a rough draft to the final polished piece – obviously, the latter will shine. Here’s a great video that explains game optimization https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAbEE9blFBg
A screenshot of a tweet mocks Denuvo’s claim that improved Star Wars performance came from developer tweaks rather than removing DRM. The embedded discussion argues that comparing the protected version with a later patched build is unfair because the patch also included many optimization improvements. It is shared as a sarcastic reaction to selective performance comparisons and corporate-style excuses.
