Marriage Optimized With Tech
My wife and I have been happily married for 5 years. Here is our marriage stack: • Slack: Family communication • JIRA: Chores board • Lattice: 360 degree family reviews • Rippling: Family payroll • Salesforce: Tracking relationship milestones • Docusign: Formally signing off on approval requests We recently had to fire our 1 year old and my wife is on a PIP, but everything else is going great Marriage, optimized: SF couples work out their issues with off-sites, performance reviews San Francisco couples are using tech to level up their love.
A social media post presents marriage as if it were a modern software company, using workplace tools and corporate jargon to manage family life. The punchline is that the couple has “fired” their one-year-old and put the wife on a performance improvement plan, turning ordinary family difficulties into absurd HR language. It is shared as a sarcastic reaction to over-optimized relationships, startup culture, and corporate-speak.
