The Problem With Saying I’m Not Racist
the problem with saying “i’m not r@cist” “I’m not r@cist” thing to say it would've never crossed your mind (you might like killing kittens so it's almost like the fact that you had to say implies that you might be that was my only mistake, huh? mistake
A long-haired man sits at a desk and explains why saying “I’m not r@cist” can sound suspicious: the unsolicited disclaimer may imply that racism had already crossed your mind. The clip ends with a close-up and a comic self-correction, “that was my only mistake, huh?”, followed by the deadpan word “mistake.” The conversational delivery, occasional beep-like censor sound, and escalating logic make the joke work as an absurd reaction to defensive disclaimers. I'm not rick this is a very paradoxical thing to say like I don't like killing kids right looking at me You would never cross your mind that I like killing kids, but now that I said it once you're first thought you might like killing kids I might like killing kids exactly so it's almost like the fact that you had to say I'm not It's almost implies that you might be does that make sense? So I shouldn't have said I'm not worth this afterwards I was my only mistake, huh? No, that wasn't your only mistake
