Circular Dependencies in Code
We've got too many circular dependencies in our code and it's starting to cause problems. What do you mean? Imagine we have 5 different modules... Now we draw an arrow from each library to show what it imports... And finally, stand here in the center while I blow the Horn of Abraxas. I'm not falling for that again.
A four-panel programming comic shows two simple figures discussing five modules and drawing import arrows between them until they form a tangled web of circular dependencies. One figure then asks the other to stand in the center while blowing the Horn of Abraxas, but the other refuses after apparently falling for the same trick before. The joke combines a real software dependency problem with an absurd fantasy ritual reference.
