Dangling Else Threat
I'll sometimes leave a dangling else just as a threat to the compiler that it better run that if statement or else. if (condition) { // ... } else;
A programming tweet shows an `if` statement followed by a dangling `else;`. The joke is that the programmer deliberately leaves the malformed-looking else as a threat to the compiler, treating code syntax like intimidation. It is shared as a reaction by programmers to express mischievous coding habits or frustration with compilers.
