A dark-mode programming post lists an attempt to write a YAML parser in Haskell that quickly turns into studying type theory, HoTT, and universal algebra. The joke is that Haskell's powerful and abstract type system distracts the programmer so completely that they write only one line of code and parse nothing. It is sent as a reaction to overengineering, getting lost in theory, or spending hours learning instead of finishing a simple task.
